SciFi or Garden Grove with TIW?

We will have 2.5 days at HS, with Mama Melrose FDP lunch and Cape May dinner on one day, and Sci Fi dinner on the other. We are tempted to change SciFi to the seafood buffet at the Garden Grove in the Swan. The cost would be 50+ more with TIW discount, but it would include all courses and seafood (our fave) instead of just burgers at Sci Fi. It wouldn't be a big issue to leave the park as we could take the boat over and then back for the Star Wars fireworks. Characters are not a huge draw, but it's a nice bonus. It all depends on if the food's worth the trip and the extra $. Thoughts?

We had dinner at Garden Grove once and were not impressed. I'll admit that it was New Year's Day and we had made reservations elsewhere that were moved by Disney because the first place was going to be closed (but apparently they didn't know that when we made the ADR 180 days out). Anyway, it was not the seafood buffet, so I can't comment on the quality there.

We love SciFi, although it may be more for the atmosphere than the food.
