well, for my school, it is required (blehck) for grades 8-10.
Yes, each year, 8 through 10th grade, you have to do a science fair project


i am excited because this is my last year.
i'm also not excited because i have to finish my paper tonight.

My school does not have a science fair. However, the elementary school I went to does. I made a model of the Solar System in 1st grade, and a Volcano in 3rd. It was not required.

It took forever to finish writing the hypothesis and the refrences.

it's chemistry this year, so i made 3 different cookies -healthy website cookie - nonhealthy cookie - my cookie which was based of the non healthy cookie.

the nonhealthy cookie required vanilla pudding mix so i switched the vanilla pudding mix with applesauce

Yes, I've been doing the Science Fair since 1st grade. Next year is my last year, I think.

The Science Fair is open to people 6-8. Only in 7th and 8th is it mandatory. I'm doing Soda Bottle Optics We get to use water as a fiber optic cable! (Now, I sound like the overly excited teacher )

I hate writing experiments. This thing is stressful. It's worth 3 stinkin test grades.
