Our flight home has been changed to even later, so I decided to check to see if Sci-Fi was available for our last day and it actually was.

How is it? Is it worth it? I was able to get 11 am lunch reservations. We have a 5 year old daughter. Or should I not bother? Or just keep it because it’s a difficult reservation and cancel closer if need be.

I think it's fun. Drive In theater atmosphere with goofy old film clips. Food is good in my experience, but don't get complicated- stick with burgers and sandwiches...

I would do 50’s PTC if you can. We never found the burgers at SF that great and at 50’s you have antics and the food is wonderful.

There is no better atmosphere than Sci-Fi. Food is typical burger joint stuff but half of the experience is sitting in tables modeled after cars at a drive-in from the 60s. The silly sci-fi clips are fun to watch while eating. If you haven't done it before, I recommend that you give it a chance. It's really cool!

My son has loved Sci-fi since his 1st time there at age 7. It’s a must do for us every trip. It’s a very unique atmosphere that you don’t get anywhere else.

There are also regular tables around the back of the restaurant, so you aren't limited to those cars and having to look at the back of someone's head in your party. We ate there for lunch during our last Disney trip since the place next door was closed for remodeling. In that area of the park there are few other choices to eat. We thought Sci-Fi needed a refresh and looked old/dingy. The short movie clips won't mean anything to people under the age of 50 since the movies/shows they are from won't be familiar to them. Food was just very average and overall not a place we would choose in the future.
