Sci-Fi, strange new lunch menu and new kids menu ??

Just looked at the new lunch menu for Sci-Fi. Too weird. When did they put stuff like seared marinated TOFU on there? Thinking about switching to 50's Primetime. Also noticed that the burger, our old feaithful standby is now $12 HEre's the new menu:

Also, how are the new "improved" kids menus working out?

I don't think the menu looks weird... the tofu is the token vegetarian entree that they are offering. I don't remember what they had in the past for that. Looks like pretty basic fare.

I believe all the restaurants got across the board price increases. 50s PT is an old fave of ours but I heard that in the last couple of months, the quality and portion size has really gone down there so the value isn't there anymore. You used to be able to easily split a dish but now the dish is still just as pricey but fit for a single person.

I love both places, honestly, but think SciFi has much better atmosphere.

They didn't have a vegetarian entree before, other than appetizers.

Vegetarian options were often available on request, though not displayed on the menu.

Maybe that's why it seemed strange to me, I never saw the vegetarian entree before. Glad to hear that about 50's PT, Sometimes share entrees with DH, guess that's out now. We noticed the smaller portions last spring specifically at Nine Dragons. We as a family used to be able to share the family dinner for two with our girls, just suppliment extra egg rolls, Last time there was barely enough of either entree for two people much less two with two kiddos.
