in a picture the "booths" look small
can big people sit in these cars
do they have something else if you don't fit?

Yes they do;) They have picnic tables which were behind the cars and at the sides of the dining area which I think seat up to six guests and you can take a wheel chair in there too. You still get the drive-in experience and you can see the movies and the staff and the food was wonderful when we went last year.

We ate at the Sci-Fi on our last trip. It was a tight squeeze for my Pooh sized DH (he usually wear 5 - 6XL t-shirts and is about 5'10") but he was able to fit in. Eventhough he was uncomfortable my DH refused to move to one of the pinic tables when I asked him if he wanted to b/c our DS's really wanted to sit in a car.

The seating in the front-facing cars is pretty generous, much more than a booth at a restaurant, I think.

Also, there are some cars with bench seating (where you can sit on either side of the car, facing each other) so that should fit everyone.

Plus, there are tables at the back of the restaurant.

WDW seems to take these things into account, which is really nice!:)

Try the Sci-Fi -- it's really alot of fun. We didn't try it for years because we read bad reviews, then a good friend said she was shocked -- it's their favorite! We went last time and it was so much fun!:)

I'm a 3X kind of guy and I fit, but it is a little tight, especially if the person you are sitting with isn't small either.

I'd worry more about the bad service and cold chicken sandwiches than the seating however.
