Sci-Fi Seating

I know the "car" seating has limited capacity, and since are a party of 9 I do not believe we can sit in one, right? Can I request two car tables when making ADRs? : What is the likelihood of getting it. The kids specifically asked to go here at least partially for the car.

Anyone eat there with a large group?

If you are a party of 9, they will automatically split your party into 2 cars when you arrive. However, there will be no guarantee that your cars will be side by side. We have often gone as a party of more than 6 (max to a car) and we have sometimes been side by side and other times we are not.

I'm guessing here, based on our experience, but I believe you will get one car for a party of 6 and another car for a party of 3 (2 of the 3 benches will be assigned). However, when you arrive and if you have small children, they may try to get you to seat 3 to a bench in order to free up one bench in the partial car. They have done this to us before.
