Sci-fi seating with 4 people...seating arrangement awkward???

Thanks everyone!!! Made a lunch reservation there for September... Looking at the menu...how are the Burgers? Big enough to share if we get a dessert? We have dinner reservations at Be Our Guest that night so definitely want to eat a smaller lunch that day.

Definitely big enough to share! I made the mistake of splitting an appetizer with my Ds and then had to shamefully leave behind half of my burger. It was very good, too. A special burger with Boursin cheese, arugula, and sweet pepper jelly.

Have tried most TS rest at Hollywood Studios and they are good. 50's Primetime is a fav and we usually try Mama Melrose if we can fit it in. Tbought about Sci-fi for Sept visit... DH and I and 2 daughters, 16 and 9. We would really want the experience of sitting in the car but wouldn't 2 of us be seating with our back to the other 2? That seems like such an awkward seating arrangement for any conversation. How does this work with a party of 4? Thank you!!!!!!

The split seating made it the best (quietest, most relaxing) meal of our trip. We have 3 kids, so we put one in each row. I sat in the middle and dh sat in the 3rd row. The kids couldn't fight or bug each other and the movie clips kept them entertained. It's a must- do for us now!

This may sound strange, but it was more awkward as a party of 2 sharing a "car" with a party of 4. The wait staff seem to try to address everyone in the vehicle at the same time . . . most of the time.

I love this restaurant, and have had many great experiences in parties of 4-6, but when it's just my DW and I can feel a little weird if you aren't addressed separately.

As far as conversation is concerned, we, as a part of six didn't find it awkward at all. And we had a lot to talk about as we had "encountered" Steven Tyler as we were being led from the waiting area to our car. I about knocked him down as he rounded a corner with his son and a fellow bandmate on their way to the bathroom (and people say women go to the bathroom in groups ). Once in the car, my husband and I were seated together in the front so talked about it and my son wanted to talk about it but he was in the back seat with his uncle who had no idea who Steven Tyler was but we managed to talk about it for quite a while as my in-laws, in the middle seat kept asking both the front seat and the back seat what was going on.

BTW - Steven Tyler was extremely nice and after his break, he and his fellow guys joined the rest of their party in a car about three down from us.

As for the burgers, my husband and I share one all the time. They are plenty big.
