Has anyone ever brought their little ones and they got scared by the movies? Just wondering if its loud and a big screen with scary monsters?

I didn't find anything to be scarry but it is a dark restaurant. They show some old movie clips like Gaint Woman, Invation from mars??, some cartoons. Nothing frightening. My children all enjoyed it. The youngest was 2 when we ate there the first time. It's not overly loud. You can here each other over the movie clips.

I have read a thread similar to this before and everyone said there is not a problem. I am sure there are a few kids who are bothered by some of the scenes. There are clips from old Black and White monster movies with monsters threatening people and some screaming and yelling and one of some one being impaled on a giant hypodermic needle. I have never seen any kids getting upset or scared though.

Nothing scary at all about sci fi....go and enjoy...I doubt if the kids will even pay any attention to whats on the screen...there is so much to see and enjoy while you are sitting there in your car.

When we took my younger son many years ago ( I think he was 3) he was not scared by the movies and it is so peaceful in there he fell asleep after he ate lunch.

My DD was 2 at the time when we went. We did not find it to be scary at all. In fact...I think DD was so busy with the "car" she didn't even notice the movies!:D

The only scary thing is the food which is horrible. I wouldnt feed their cooking to the monsters on the screen.

The movie clips played on the screen are really just played for laughs. They're the ridiculously cheesy "horror" movies from the 1950's, not anything modern-day or truly frightening. And I have to argue about the food - I think it's wonderful! (If you haven't, try the BBQ Chicken Sandwich...it's delicious!)

I was going to say the same thing. I had a prime rib sandwhich there last year, nearly ruined my trip. As for the decor, I don't think anything in there would scare the kids, outside of the food, but that's enough to terrify anyone.
