Sci Fi.. pay for it OOP or skip it?

We've planned out our DDP reservations and came up short one TS credit... Sci Fi is our least expensive TS so we are debating paying OOP for it.. but I've read so many mixed reviews I'm not sure it is worth it spending the extra $$ on it anymore.

Thoughts?

If it were me I would pay OOP. I do love sci-fi. One of my favorite TS.

Take reviews with a grain of salt. Don't skip, pay OOP. We love it!

Pay oop. Just order water and skip the desserts to save some money, but go for the experience.

There's not anything special about the food.The portions are small(I ordered oinion rings and recieved 4).The milkshakes are very good.The atmosphere was a neat experiance but I wouldnt have wanted to pay out of pocket.We had the dining plan so we just used it.With the other restraunts we were eating at we could justify using a credit for it and still come out ahead.

We have Sci Fi a second chance after really disliking it. DH said never again. The food was again pretty bland and he was really unhappy with sitting in a car. I thought he'd think it was neat, but he really didn't enjoy anything but the movie clips.

Our family loved it. YMMV as some people really don't.

I would suggest reviewing menus and reading some
Dining positive and negative reviews.

Our family would not hesitate to return again.
I split a burger with my SIL. I found it really good, but I am not a burger connoisseur. It just isn't my go to at other places, so I have no idea if it is the best or the worst. I do know I liked it.

I ordered one of the grown up drinks and found it delish.

Kids enjoyed their milkshakes and burgers.

We had fun. Definitely better than fast food but no idea about other burger sit down places.

My kids love the cars. There are non-car tables, but wait may be longer to get them.

For us its a never again restaurant. We arrived on time for an ADR. Was seated about 15 minutes later (no problem, normal) and proceeded to wait at least another 10 minutes to be greeted at the table while we watched the the cast member assigned to our table visit the table right behind us 2 or 3 times. Finally got the drink order in which took another 5 minutes. At that time we where ready to leave so we never ordered meals. And to top it off, on the way out we heard them calling our name to be seated.
