Sci Fi or Rainforest?

If you were to pick one, which would it be? and...any other suggestions?

Looking to have 1-2 adr's for upcoming trip with dd11. Don't want to spend a crazy amount of money. Definitely not going to do a buffet because she doesn't eat enough to justify the adult price i'd have to pay for her. Thought of Whispering Canyon but we don't really have time for the detour it would take to go there.
(tried to get BOG but no availability on the days we'll be at MK)

That's a tough one. Atmosphere is better at Sci Fi, but food has slight edge at Rainforest though both are mediocre at best.

We're not really fans of either....our experience was the food at both was meh at best. Are those your ONLY choices? I would pick 50's Prime Time or Mama Melrose over Sci-Fi. Which Rainforest? At AK? I've only been to the one at DS....wasn't all that. Liked T-Rex better... There are better places.... How about pizza at Via Napoli in Epcot?! They have delicious sangria (for mom of course).

We like Sci-Fi, fun atmosphere and great milkshakes!

With these two restaurants I would compare the atmosphere. Rainforest is loud, with people and sound effects, while Sci-Fi is surprisingly quiet. The Hitchhikers in our car actually commented how they would go to more resturants like it because of how quiet it is.

As a kid, I loved Rainforest Cafe. I didn't care about the food back then, it was the atmosphere that was my favorite. As an adult I haven't been back so I can't speak of the food now. I have been to Sci Fi as an adult and enjoyed the food (although it wasn't anything spectacular) and the atmosphere. I think an eleven year old would like either place.

Between the two, Sci-Fi hands down for us! It is an unusual theme, the seating is fun, the movies are fun, the food is comfort food, and it is a Disney restaurant.

Rainforest Cafe, not Disney, will not see us again for a long time. Way too noisy, way way to crowded (the waiters had to hold plates high and turn sideways while squeezing in-between tables, and we had to pull our chairs forward several times for them to get by!), and very unhealthy food in much too large servings (I guess to justify the price). Like another Disney restaurant, they seem to be so popular they don't have to be good.

But, Rainforest is very popular, so YMMV!

We like them both but SciFi is the one restaurant we try to eat at each trip. One the Disney's best for imagineering.

Sci-fi is a must do for me every trip. Rainforest is ok, but it is loud and the food is average. I only go there when I have a gift card.

we won't be returning to rainforest ever....way too many better choices out there.....and whispering canyon is worth the trip.
