Which one do you prefer? We’ve never done either and have reservations for both on our HS day.

In terms of atmosphere, Sci Fi. It's, IMHO, the best themed restaurant in all of WDW. The food quality is about equal, IMHO. Plus, if you're in DHS, I would just stick with Sci-Fi so you don't have to travel all the way to B&C and back.

We found there was an odd taste with the burger at Sci Fi but really liked the food at Beaches. But, I would not leave the park to go there if that is your plan. We love 50’s Prime Time Cafe.

Sci-fi hands down. Have done them both a lot but atmosphere is more fun. Oh yeah. And don’t leave the park just for Beaches... unless you want a sundae with a whole can of whipped cream. Yes a whole can!

We do both every trip!! Can’t go wrong with either. Check out each menu and see which you’d prefer.

We love Sci-Fi, burgers and shakes, I would def keep that ressie while at DHS! Maybe Beaches and Cream after the park closes, evening stroll to the boardwalk area?

My reservation for beaches is at 745 so after park close. I figured we could take the boat or skyliner over there. My Sci fi is at 555 so during park hours at HS still.

Sci-Fi is really cool, and I think their burgers are among the best on property. Get a shake, and don't sleep on the onion rings.:earsboy:

Do both. Get just dessert- the kitchen sink at Beaches. Boat or walk to work up that appetite. You’ll make it just in time.

yes! A whole can!

We love the walk to the Boardwalk from DHS, but it might be too far, depending on your group, it's just a nice stroll, to catch your breath and get away from the crowds.

I think Sci-fi first, the atmosphere and location wins. Being able to pop in without leaving HS and enjoy a very cool meal turns a park day up a few notches.
Beaches and Cream is a close runner up. I think what makes this place so popular is a solid menu at good prices and huge ice cream desserts always excites the kid in all of us. It’s not as cool as Sci-fi but has a very good fun/value ratio compared to most WDW food. It’s close to Epcot International Gateway and that Skyliner station.
