Sci-Fi or 50s Prime Time

Hi, planning our ADRs and I'm at our HS day. They both look fun, so I'm having a hard time picking. My kids will be 7&8, My youngest is picky, but I've looked at both menus and there are options he will pick at, so that's not an issue.

I'm kind of leaning toward Sci-Fi, because I think my kids might appreciate the atmosphere there more than 50s, but look forward to your suggestions. Thanks.

i've eaten at both.
i like sci-fi better.
i love sitting in a car and watching the cheesy previews.
i ate a 50's prime time as an adult and i did not care for the atmosphere.
i just felt it seemed rude not funny.
i would not take a picky eater there especially not a young one because its harder for them to take a "joke" from a "mean" CM.

Definitely Sci Fi. It's fun for adults and children alike.
I also think Prime Time seems more rude than funny. Guess I don't appreciate that type of humor.

Agreed with PP, I like 50's better but the kids will enjoy SciFi better.

I think it depends on your child. My DD who is now 10 loved 50’s when we went when she was 8. It is the one place she has asked me to book. She had so much fun.

We find 50s fun and everyone we've been with loves it as well.

My wife isn't a big fan of not seeing her food so she hates the darkness of sci-fi.

The other thing to keep in mind is the table set-up is neat but if you're going to be sitting behind your kids.

Thanks so much for the reviews. I really appreciate the info. I knew about the humor at 50s, but forgot about it as I'm now in full-blown planning stage. My little guy has some very slight sensory issues and sometimes the most innocent things bring tears. So thanks for that reminder, I think for this trip Sci-Fi will be a better choice this time around and we will wait on 50s til he is a little older.
