On the dining plan, can you get a milk shake at Sci Fi as your beverage and then order a dessert too? We did this years ago at WCC but wasn't sure if it was the same case with Sci Fi. I've seen several posts but everything is 2013 or older - looking for someone who can confirm either yes or no based on an experience in the last several months.

Yes, as of late January 2015. In fact, our waiter brought us an extra milkshake for the littles to share as well. We didn't ask for that and I wouldn't have expected it--he was just an awesome waiter. :)

we were there in April and were on the Deluxe dining plan and my hubby was able to order a milk shake as his drink. He was very excited about that and Sci Fi soon became his fav place to eat, LOL. Its the little things in life I guess, lol

So you can get a milkshake and a dessert both on the regular dining plan?

I'd hate to hijack the thread, but its kind of the same topic.. does anyone know if you can get the milkshakes for breakfast?? (ik, ik, not a good option for breakfast, but i've never been to sci fi, and have a breakfast ressie..hoping to try the famous shake there)

Milkshakes would be extra, they are not included in the price for breakfast

Are you sure? If it was ordered as your "non-alcoholic beverage" why wouldn't that be allowed? The Dining Plan states

"Each meal from a Table-Service location includes one (1) single-serving:
For Breakfast • Entrée • Non-Alcoholic Beverage - or - • One (1) Full Buffet
For Lunch/Dinner • Entrée • Dessert • Non-Alcoholic Beverage - or - • One (1) Full Buffet"

At breakfast since its one price and not a la carte, it's not included.

I would consider this! We have breakfast adrs and the shakes are my favorite thing. It won't be an inconvenience for the server to get one during breakfast hours? Do you happen to know what, if any, the seasonal flavor will be in November? Thanks!

My daughter will be so pleased. She would probably order two - one for her drink and one for her dessert. LOL
