We had lunch at Sci-Fi on June 7th. We had an ADR for 2:40, checked in at 2:20, they were running about 20 minutes behind so it was right around 3:00 when we were seated. We were seated in the front car on the right. Our first time at Sci-Fi and we really enjoyed it.
We had visited CRT the day before for DD and Sci-Fi was DS choice. I sprung for the drinks with the lights and you don't have to get the lemonade you can get a soda if you'd like.
DH ordered the Italian Grilled Chicken Sandwich with fries - it was a big sandwich, looked like either two breast pieces or a butterfly fillet. He loved it.
I ordered the Smoked Turkey sandwich with the cucumber salad. My sandwich was very good. I was kind of leary as I don't like warmed turkey on a sandwich and was relieved that it wasn't. It was sort of like a club sandwich and it was very good. I really loved the cucumber salad which was thin sliced cucumbers in a dressing.
DS ordered the Angus Chuck Burger - meat & cheese only (American cheese) with fries and he polished it off.
DD got the kids meal with the hot dog & fries which she finished almost all of.
DH & I split a hot fudge sundae and the kids each got their own.
We enjoyed watching the movie clips - DD covered her eyes some but she wasn't really scared. Our waiter took great care of us but I can't remember his name.
This was a nice break from the heat and very relaxing. The movie clips were a good distraction - usually the kids scarf down their food and are ready to go before we are finished.
Would visit Sci-Fi again.
They were booked to capacity and turning lots of walk in's away who had not planned on a place to dine in advance.

But I do love the food their. LOVE their ribs! YUMMY!

The atmospher is so relaxing and its cool, and i remember when DS was 5 he was super super fussy about his food and the way it looked, but because it was so dark he couldnt see his food properly, he didnt spot the seeds on his burger bun
The movie clips are hilarious too.
