It's a fun place to go once. The food the last couple times I've been has been poor.

Of all the meals we ate, my DS5 talks about Sci-Fi more than any others- including the character meals we did.

Cherry coke and milkshakes are delicious. My family ate ribs and loved them. My chicken sandwich was not that great.

It was also our quietest, most relaxed meal of the week.

We took dd when she was 5 and it was and is her favorite restaurant.She has already requested it for our Aug trip.I thought it is really cute too-standard food but great setting.

We are with the minority here. The atmosphere is great. Milkshakes are yummy. The food was really bad the day we were there and service was super slow.

Went in Janurary and really enjoyed the food and services was good. It is dark in there and the clips that they show are great.(all old, black and white films/shows)

Food is good - atmosphere is great. Kids love sitting in the car tables watching old movie clips.

Don't expect great things from the food - but for kid's - particularly boys - your son's ages, its a great spot.

Its cheesy monster movie trailers (like "Attack of the 50 foot woman") from the 50s, along with a lot of newsreel clips about our fantastic future from the same time period (we all cook with magnatism now!).

One word of caution is that its "drive in dark" and you'll sit in cars - we put the kids in the front seat and we sit behind them. So if your kids are sensitive to dark, cheesy monsters, or need Mom next to them to behave and eat - it may not be the best choice.

Our boys (4 and 10) love the novelty of sittting in the cars to eat and watching the old Sci Fi movies. The food was OK, but we took them there as a surprise treat for the atmosphere and they definitely loved it.

I think this should be a must for all kids today who only know movies in mega-plexes. Sci-Fi is really as authentic as can be as to what a true drive-in theatre looked like. Since today's kids can't really get this experience anymore, Sci Fi is the next best thing. Even the commercials to try and get you to the snack bar are the same as back in the "old days".

Kids at this age typically get petty excited about the atmosphere-theming of the restaurant. We keep in simple (burger-shakes), but service is sporatic. The last time we were served cold burgers...in this day in age I would hate to think what we might get back if we sent them back

We were there in February and really enjoyed the restaurant. The food was quite good! Shakes were very good, DH loved his bacon burger, I had a veggie burger which was a little dry but still good, the fries are excellent, and my Mom really liked her chili and talked about it later. My girls shared the pizza and ate it all. Our server was excellent too.
We would definitely go back!

I know many people don't like it but we found it really enjoyable. We just walked in on a whim since we didn't have any ADRs for lunch that day and we ate a late lunch. The setting was just FUN. I didn't find the food any better or worse than most of the places on property that aren't the higher end places. Kind of like an Applebee's in quality. So it was good. Worth it to us! A MUST do next time we go.
