Not so much a food question as a entertainment question. I've seen some comments on the boards lead me to wonder if the movie clips shown as being possibly scary for kids. I've never been, so I'm hoping to get some BTDT opinions. My kids are 2 years and 4 years.

Thanks!

I wouldn't think so, but then again my kids were never really scared of anything at Disney. Well...My daughter freaked out over the 3D movies the first time she ever seem them.

In 2006 we took our boys then 6yo, 4yo and 3yo along with our 2yo niece to Sci-Fi and not a one of them were scared of the clips.

My kids have never been afraid of the movie clips. My twins were 3 last year and they liked them.

Some of the clips are from old movies like the 24 ft. women, some clips have weird robots, but nothing scary.

I just went to youtube. There are a lot of videos of the actual movie clips from Sci Fi. Just search Sci Fi Dine in Theater. Lots come up. Then you can see for yourself.

I don't think the clips are very scary. For younger kids, the clips are more of a distraction than something they would become engrossed in. You could ask for a table in the back of the restaurant where you wouldn't directly face the movie screen.

We have been taking my girls there since they were 2 and they have never been scared. They are really cheesey old scary movies, almost cartoonish characters. There is Mighty Mouse too I believe in there.
