We (DH & I) enjoyed it, sitting in the backseat of a convertible having burgers & shakes at a "drive in" was a lot of fun. Especially since we can remember when there actually WERE drive ins.
Totally agree. Last week, we just decided to go to Disney World for Memorial Day weekend and Sci Fi was my only request for food. But, it's all booked up so I had no choice but to get it for the July 4th weekend.
If you've been to a drive in movie theater, you'll appreciate the memories. If you've never been to a drive in movie theater, this is as close as you're going to get but it does have air conditioning. Excellent place for a relaxing meal.
The film clips run about 45 minutes and we've found that it takes about that long for the meal so we're not sitting there constantly watching the same thing over and over again.
The biggest downfall of this restaurant is the seating arrangement -- you sit in cars and your party will not be facing you since you're all facing the movie screen. It's not the kind of restaurant where you can easily chat. Just so you're aware.
