Sci-Fi Dine In Question

We're eating at Sci Fi Dine In and we were thinking of getting the kids' popcorn chicken option, because the only version of that dish for adults if buffalo popcorn chicken and neither of us are really spicy food lovers.

We're paying OOP, does anyone have experience ordering a kid's meal as an adult at Sci-Fi? If they don't let us do it, would they be likely to accept giving us just plain popcorn chicken instead of buffalo for the same price?

Never ordered kids meal at Sci-Fi but have at various other restaurants and it's never been a problem. Disney doesn't care what you order as long as you are eating at their restaurants.

They are also very accommodating to special requests.

Realize that the kids' portion size is pretty small. But we've been able to get a child's dish in an adult size (with a price increase of course)....so definitely ASK for what you want and see what they'll be able to do for you.

This is what I would order or ask to order. Just smile and ask the server if you could have the buffalo chicken without the sauce and I'll bet you the server will be able to help you out. My husband has asked for his meals "naked" many times and has never been turned down.

Perfect, thanks for all the responses We'll see what we feel hungry for when we get there (my DW rarely eats a lot so a kids' portion might be just the thing for her), but at least we'll have options

This is actually our first time, and we're super excited! I've always thought the theming looked awesome, but it just somehow never fit into our plans, so this time around we made sure to make room for it!

Relax and enjoy. This is one of my favorite places as well. My husband and I stick to the burgers but take the time to really see the movie trailers. They are hilarious and the entire atmosphere makes the time very magical. I've taken many first timers and they are very impressed with the detail of the place.

Oh - also be aware that others might be seated in your car. But the hitchhikers and us have always gotten along very well.

What is the license? We ate there a few times with kids and have never heard of it.

We definitely plan on enjoying it, as much as possible anyway since it'll be on the first Friday of SWWs! But we'll have already spent a full day in HS by that time, so we should be well covered not to have to rush to get everything done!

We wouldn't mind hitchhikers, but we should be good seeing as we're a group of six Unless there's cars that sit 8, but I think those aren't the same kind of settings?
