Sci Fi - didn't care for

We went in October. Had one of the best waitpeople we've ever had at Disney. We did stick to basics. I had a good rueben, my husband a OK burger. Good onion rings. Kids had chicken fingers and everyone had malts. We'll go back. Food was way better than the highly overrated Beaches and Cream, service was WAY better (the waitress at B&C was surly), atmophere was cool, and it wasn't dirty (B&C was our other malt and burger meal at WDW).

I've heard over and over to stick to basics at Sci Fi.

Another vote of sticking to basics at the Sci Fi. Reuben, Burgers, Onion Rings, Fries, Milkshakes have always been good. Although I can empathize with the dry hamburger buns as well. The one time I got pasta it was terrible...Service has always been average.

i've learned for next time to stick with the basics...

not sure though if i'll go back to eat there when i'm back in august.

It occurs to me that I don't know if I'd go here if the kids didn't love it. In some ways, its like a character meal, stick to the basics and the food is OK - but you are going for the experience not the food. But the kids thought the whole thing was SO COOL and chicken fingers are chicken fingers.

(and their alcoholic malts make up for anything lacking in food).

We had dinner one time there and didn't care for it so now we just do burgers and fries at lunch. Love the themeing!!
