My family is planning a trip the last week of April. I have booked all of my ADR's (and switched them around) multiple times without an issue. I was able to get the "hard to get" ressies like CRT and several others without a problem. However, when I tried to get Sci-Fi for dinner on April 23,they have nothing after 5 or before 8! WHat gives? DHS has EMH that night, but even still, Sci-Fi isn't typically a hard to get ressie. Can anyone explain?

It's not ultrapopular but it actually is one of the more difficult to get sometimes. It's not a big place, and people want to book it for the novelty of the atmosphere.

We actually prefer lunch over dinner at Sci Fi. Same atmosphere but we can get the awesome burgers and a break during the day. You might want to consider that.

Thanks for the heads up. I didn't realize you couldn't get a burger for dinner. I was a cm at DHS (nearly 12 years ago now) and we used to love to go and get a burger there after our shift. It's the whole reason I want to go!

We were trying dinner because this is my first time going with my dd (3 yo) so I was doing a AK morning with a Tusker House breakfast, then leaving late morning and headed to DHS for a light lunch since we will likely be full from breakfast. I wanted to do DHS that night because of the EMH and Disney Jr. Dance Party. I am going to have to look at the menu again and rethink my plan!

***EDITED*** I must have misunderstood your post- I checked and the lunch and dinner menu are the same so I can definitely get my burger! I reserved a 4:30 early dinner. I think we will be able to make it work.

You didn't misunderstand, the PP was not up to date.
For several months now many restaurants, including Sci Fi, 50's PTC, and the Brown Derby have what they call an "All Day" menu
