When we built our old house, this is what we used. I loved these cabinets. They were quality construction, you could pull the drawers and see the dove-tails. We sold that house and from what the buyer's realtor told us, they were a huge buying point for the new owners.
I know that they are being sold at our local Menard's (here but they weren't when we lived in MI). We bought ours from a small company in Marshall, MI. I think we were told they were made in the USA. It's been over eight years now, I can't remember all of what they told us. I do know that when the times comes to remodel this kitchen, I would not hesitate to replace what we have with Schrock. I would assume like everything else, there are different grades of things. Have her go and look at them, pull them out and make sure. I know the ones on display at Menard's have the dove-tails.
I will say make sure of the people putting them in though. Our contractor/builder messed up several pieces of ours. We ended up in court over everything he screwed up (or allowed to be screwed up). They drilled a hole for a knob on the wrong side of a door, wood-filled it and redrilled on the correct side. They also didn't put the hinge in correctly, it was "off" and ended up splitting the wood on the corner unit (think one of the tall ones with the "garage" in it). There was one other thing with the cabinets but I can't remember what--it was all installer related and not quality of the cabinet though.
