Schools open on Veteren's Day?

Is your school open or closed on Veteren's Day? (Nov 11th, Thursday)

How will the crowds be on Veteren's Day and the Friday, Saturday and Sunday after?

Thinking of pulling the kids out of school on the Friday after Veteren's Day and having a 4 day weekend to see Harry Potter.

The schools in the Orlando area are usually in session for Veteran's Day...so no long weekend for them.

Schools in our area are closed -- live in WV, part of the DC metro area. I know, as the grandkids always end up at my house. Not this year, I'll be in WDW!

Orange, Seminole and Osceola County schools are open on Veteran's Day. They do not get off until Thanksgiving week.
