I WISH I could walk my kids to school. Our education system is so pathetic here my kids have to bused way far away from our house. The crummy thing is they catch the bus at 7:20am but they do get home at 3pm every day which gives them plenty of time to finish homework before supper.

98 times:lmao:and that's driving! Guess she had to harvest the wheat and grind it into flour to make the bread for sandwiches!

98 times? That's pretty well every day. Feels like they only go to school 98 days out of 365 with summer holidays, march break, easter, christmas, and those professional development days

She told me yesterday she was going to start walking everday, as she enjoyed the exercise, today, once again 10 minutes late !.

I think it was Dr. Phil who said that people who are compulsively late are just extremely selfish and self-serving.

They don't care about anyone else but themself, deep down inside when the truth really comes out... Just no consideration for others!

That is hilarious though... I can't believe that they can't even make it driving.

When I was a kid, I only got driven when there was a last minute emergency... like, the power went off and the alarm didn't go off or a nosebleed... or... well, you get the picture. :rotfl: :confused3

We lived right at the border of where we would be bussed or we walked, of course we walked. My mom never drove us. wow, we were never late, I hate being late.

Apprently when the principal called her to discuss the issue, she told him she was trying her hardest, and his response was that "obviously she wasn't trying hard enough".
When I was younger, I also walked and was never late, and that has carried me through adulthood.
Until recently, I worked for 15 years, and in that time, I can count on one hand the number of times I was late.
