Wow, that is early! I don't know if our Staples will have everything in stock now, they usually run out by Sunday night.

Can someone remind me how the teacher thing works? I know you get 25 of everything instead of only 2 of the 1 cent items, but is that true for the "buy $5 and get two for a penny" deals?

It is also good on the buy $5 penny deals. You can get up to 25. You pay full price for any over the two but get 100% back in rewards.

The way I understand it is you get 5% back for all purchases (not positive it's everything) bought within a certain time frame and the $6.98 for the paper and other special purchase rewards. When you reach $10 you can print out a coupon for $10 to use in the store or you can use it online.

Here's what the website says: Staples Rewards members receive 5% back in Rewards on all items excluding taxes, postage, prepaid phone cards, delivery charges, coupons, gift cards and purchases made on 3rd party websites. Staples Rewards® are issued online monthly when the value of the Reward is at least $10. Rewards expire no less than 60 days after issuance. Monthly balances of less than $10 will roll over each month until the minimum is met for that calendar quarter. If the $10 minimum for the quarter has not been met, the balance will expire at the end of the quarter. Rewards Members receive free shipping on all orders placed on staples.com or by phone at 1-800-333-3330 for which a Membership account is identified, excluding orders made at documents.staples.com, print.staples.com, staplespromotionalproducts.com, and third party websites linked to staples.com. Standard Staples delivery policies apply. Limit one Staples Rewards account per person or at any mailing address. Additional accounts will be cancelled. Adjustments to your Staples Rewards account may be initiated to correct a processing error.

Thanks so much for this! Based on this thread, I went and picked up a few back-to-school items yesterday, including one pack of the copy paper. I'll run back later today and grab another (since they are a limit of 2) - otherwise, with only one 6.98 rebate I'd be under the $10 threshold and it would probably time out on me since I don't shop at Staples all that often.

Anybody know if I can grab more of the penny deals today or since I got them yesterday I can't? (Not sure if it is a "per customer" thing or a "per customer per day" thing...) Thanks!

So you pay full price for numbers 3-25 and get Staples rewards? I have never done that before. It has always been just 1 cent per item up to 25.

They changed it. I was disappointed too because I remember getting 25 packs of filler paper for a quarter.

They are really pushing that shopping pass. I can't justify the cost. I would never spend $60+ to make it worth it.

Yes....when you get your second pack of paper you can pick up mote penny items. The limit is per purchase not per customer. I Did the same thing..I joined the rewards to get the 2packs of paper. 1st purchased joined rewards and picked up paper and penny items. 2nd purchase did same items so I would reach the $10 threshold

That is a deal breaker for me. I have had issues getting Staples rewards in the past so I wont' even bother.
