School Spring breaks

I'm from Long Island and the public school calendar is showing two breaks for next spring. The first one is for Easter (March 20,21, 24 and 25). The second is April 21-25 (Passover). Which break do you think will be less crowded at Disney?

I would say, without a doubt, the April one. The March one would have school breaks and some college spring breaks. The April on, you would probably not have to deal w/ college spring breaks. I know in my area, we get break for Easter. No school around here gets a break for Passover.

I'm in Northwest NJ and we're off the week of March 17 (going into Easter). We are not going to WDW but instead on a cruise. I only wish we had Passover week off. I'd tell my mom that I was sorry, no Seder for me, had to see the mouse.

I think that you'll have some schools that are off for a late spring break but I think you'll see far fewer crowds than Easter week. We were there last year for the easter break and it got more crowded as the week went on. The day we left (Good Friday) the parks were completely JAMMED!

I'm from NJ and just looked at our calendar. This is the first year we don't have a week off for Easter. We have a 1 o'clock day the 20 and the 21 off but go back the 24. We have a week in April. April 21-25. we also have our winter recess from feb 18-22. I'm not sure if we had this lst year. I can't remember.

I'm another one from NJ. Every town is different in this state, but I'm sure every state is like that and not just ours. Our area has the following off:

March Closed Good Friday & Easter Monday March 21, 24
April Closed Spring Break April 21- 25

Our Spring breaks this year are Thursday-Monday (March 20-24) for Easter and April 14-18. We used to always get the week after Easter as our Spring break. They have been shuffling our breaks around the last couple of years.

Here in MA, public schools are out the 3rd week of April to coincide with Patriot's Day. Our vacation will be April 21-27, and I am already thinking about doing WDW that week since Easter is so much earlier.

I think the crowds will be lighter for the end of April. I'm from Long Island too and usually go around the Easter break. A few years back they had a late April break and it was definately less crowded than going the beginning of April. I usually read all threads relating to the spring breaks because that is when we go and found a lot the the northeast will have the later April week as well but most of the rest of the country will have off end of March beginning of April.

My break is April 5-April13. Do you think it will be very crowded this week? We don't get any days off around Easter.

I'm in South Alabama. Our break is April 14-18 this year.
