English class can get so random. Today we spent time on how to spell grey. So how do you spell it, and where are you from?

I spell it "grey" and I am from Pittsburgh.

I'm from Buffalo and I say it's gray. And I should know, as our skies are usually GRAY around here. ;)

TRAITOR!! ;)

I'm only 25-30 miles north of you and I spell it GRAY!!:D

Gray, although I have seen in both ways...grew up in CA, now in OR.

Gray here... and according to Merriam-Webster Dictionary it is gray... and grey is a variant of gray. I've only seen Grey really used for a name and not a color.

I always thought gray was the British / Canadian way of spelling it, ( like colour and rumour etc. ) and switched to grey when I moved here.

I just used my spell check and it corrected my grey to gray. Live and learn as they say.

The color is gray, the dog is grey (hound).

Peggy

Oops, forgot to say I'm in Tenn.

GRAY when I was growing up on Long Island and still GRAY here in Cincinnati.

Growing up it was always gray like the Crayola crayon. Now, at work especially, it's grey, for the colors of clothing.
