School Question: What are your different classes called?

well we have 2 semisters 2 terms in each semister, have 7 periods and 4 lunchs and we have a very large middle school and each each grade 6,7,and 8th, there are 3 clusters, 6th- red, yellow ( I was in that one last year), and crimson. 7 th- blue, green, and purple, and 8 th- gold, pink, and orange. and our schedule doesn't go by monday-friday thing, it's actully a 6 day schedule, and each day you have different classes at diferent times. and classes are 44 mintues long. it's wicked hard to explain, anyway here are the times of classes at our school, or this is what it was last year,

school starts officially at 7:50 Am but you can go inside for lockers at 7:40 and first class starts a little after 8 am
school ends and 2:20 Pm

We have 4 "9-Weeks". At the end of each of these you get a "report card" at the final end of the final 9-Weeks you get a "Final Report Card".

We have 2 "semesters". Each semester holds 2 "9-Weeks". At the end of the first semester you have "Mid-Terms" and at the end of the second semester you have "Finals".

We have 7 "academic periods" in a day. Each to be about 50 minutes long. (With the exception of 5th which i'll explain in a minute.) We have 4 minutes in passing which last year was fine for me. Who will know for this year? I also like Jenny havethree lunches. A, B, and C. A lunch comes before 5th period, B lunch comes in the middle of 5th period, and C lunch comes after 5th period. It all works out, somehow. 5th period is 60 minutes to allow for 3, 20-minute lunches to fit in there. I was in the "middle school" last year and all "middle schoolers" had C lunch. This year i'll either have A or B lunch.

Should I mention that the tardy bell rang at 7:50 and we were released at 2:44.

Wow, isn't that hard having 3 different lunches? I mean dont you get to see your friends?

yeah sometimes all of your friends are in the same lunch waves EXCEPT for you, so you're stuck trying to find SOMEONE you know. its not fun. but my friends and i all sign up for almost the same classes, so we will be in the same lunch waves this year. it all depends on what class you have before you go to lunch.

Four marking periods. Two semesters, each with two marking periods. All classes are year round except some electives. There are nine periods in a day.
1, 2, 3 are classes or study halls
4, 5, 6, 7 are classes, study halls or lunch
8, 9 are classes, or study halls

It all depends how your schedule falls out. I don't get my schedule until the first day of school, but I do know when two of my classes are. Third is going to be Newspaper and 6th is Chorus.
