I guess I am one of the lucky ones!

Our schools have always used Lifetouch, and had good results. They are school pics afterall, so I guess I don't expect amazing quality. And best of all, the prices are very reasonable!

I bought a pretty big package, including 3 8x10's etc., and only spent around $22. Here you get your prints that you ordered, and Lifetouch doesn't send home a bunch of other add-ons to buy. Thank goodness, as I am an absolute sucker for pictures of my baby.

Wow...I am shocked at your prices!! I always get the smalles package that includes an 8x10. It is now 16.00, it went up. DS pictures last year were OMG..scary. I was like..OMG...it is digital, you can see what it was, and as a photographer you thought that was ok.
We did retake them.

DD graduates 8th grade this year...I am afraid of what yearbook pics will cost!! I know when our older DS graduated from college his pictures were crazy.

I might sound crazy but i would never retouch a childs school photo. I think that school pictures should show exactly how they looked that day! i think that is part of the fun---then when they are older they can pull them out and have a good laugh. I want to remember it how it really was.

Agreed!! Some of my school pics are hilarious!
