Henriette: She walked into class with MJ. "Want to find a table to sit at?"

Nat: She walked in with Jason and sat down at a table next to the demigod.

Jason: He walked in with Nat and sat down at a table next to the spy.

Delphin: she sat down on the other side of Jason. "Is it okay if I sit here?"

Brendan: he sat at a table alone.

Jason: "Yeah, totally."

Nat: "Sure!" She smiled. She had been afraid she wouldn't make friends here. But then, maybe Delphin was just here to sit with Jason.

Nat: "You're lucky I have so much self control and we're in class," she said simply, then she started digging in her bag.

Jason: "I wonder how this class will go."

Ms. Odie: "We'll wait for a few more students to arrive before we start."

Ms. Odie: "Hey y'all, listen up! I'm Ms. Odie, and this is Magic class! Just follow all of them school rules and we'll get along just fine! Now, I know what you're thinking - magic can only be used by wizards, witches, fairies, sorcerers and sorceresses, voodoo artists and demigods and deities, and so this class is useless to the rest of you, right?"

Brendan: he looked up. "Oh, yeah. Sure."

Imogen: "Thanks." she said. She then tried to give him a nice smile.

Art: "It's Brendan right?"

Now, I know what you're thinking - magic can only be used by wizards, witches, fairies, sorcerers and sorceresses, voodoo artists and demigods and deities, and so this class is useless to the rest of you, right?"

MJ: She listened to the teacher.

Will: He turned toward the teacher.

Ms. Odie: She coughed slightly. "As I was saying, you might think this class is useless to people who can't use magic, but if you do you're wrong. You don't need to have the ability to use magic to detect it, and you don't need to have the ability to use magic to recognize when someone or something is under a spell. Are y'all with me?"

MJ: She nodded.

Will: He nodded also.
