Mirror:She let Rose heart's go. Then she took Brendan's heart and staring at it laughed. "This is funner than I thought." She hissed. "What should I do with it?"

Rose:She looked horrified. "Please just give it back to him and let us go!"

Brendan: he stared at his own heart, terrified. This was it. He was going to die. He slid his hand into Rose's. "It will be alright." He said hoarsely. He looked back at Jaqui, smiled, then held his other hand out for her to take. "You know they'll escape no matter what you do to me, right ma'am?" He smiled at Mirror.
