Connie, as you know, I've been away from the DIS a bit and I am just reading about Cinnamon and the very difficult decision you had to make. Our Cookie is 13 and is slowing down and I worry how much longer we will have with her.

Please know that all of you are in my thoughts and prayers. It is so difficult to lose a member of the family.

Sorry to hear about your doggy. I don't have any pets but my mom does and I know how she feels when she loses her doggies.

we didn't have but a few dogs when I was growing up and never house dogs. Danny on the other hand was raised with dogs in and out. We have had dogs since we have been married; before really. We currently have two dogs (a black lab and a dachsund; Danny's mom also breeds birds and we have a blue front parrot as well) the dogs live outside and I wish daily the bird could but she lives in her beautiful cage and I put her out daily...it is funny how animals become part of the family. Our black lab (both dogs have pens in the garage) will sit on the back porch and sit and cry by whichever french door we are closest to in the evenings until we pick him up; he is such a baby!

I'm sorry about cinnamon, sounds like she had 16 wonderful years and was lucky to have you!

Congrats on your upcoming 25th!!! Rey & I are celebrating 20 this year, but our trip alone won't be until next Feb. so I guess we'll be almost to 21st then! Can't wait to read more!

no really take your time not like he needs until about six months from now...and if I was not afraid it may need alterations or adjustments I would tell you to just hand deliver it when we meet up!

Connie, I have a 1 piece suit my Aunt gave me with tags still on it. (she is rich and does this all the time) I tried it on the other day. It says on the tag size 16, but it is a sucker in one and I could barely get it over my HUGE thighs. Once up it was OK, but It was too much of a pain to get it up and down. I would say it is more like a 14 or maybe even a 12. If you want it, you can have it. It is flowery I think. I can take a picture. If you are interested just PM me.

We will definitely be driving. The plane tickets are just way too much and we enjoy having our car!
I have been begging to do the Poly, and since we are going to WL in 2 weeks, which is Chris' pick, he is indulging me in 3 nights at the Poly since the prices are lower that time of year. If money gets tight that will be what I drop, but I'm hoping to keep it. I do have tentative plans, but I don't know if I will attempt a PTR for awhile.
Can't wait to see you and Ashton soon!

Hey girl! Thank you! it was very hard and Niko lives in your house with you guys so I'm sure it will be even harder. When Ashton came along the two house dogs were moved to the garage. We took it really hard when they moved out; but, we had to do what was best for my sanity and the baby.

in fact I am having a hard time finding energy to do anything, lately. Have all these things I want to tackle and when I start I decide to do soemthing else...it just never ends....today is laundry day

not much to report on this side; Danny and I have been snapping at one another so no real plans for either trip are getting done at this time. Time changes really mess Danny up and makes for a not so nice person in the afternoons/evenings and I usually get enough after about an hour. I feel like I deal with four year olds all day, I don't need to deal with a 45 yr old that thinks he is a two year old. Last night I tried to get everyone in bed for 8:30 so I hope that helps.

I wish you were able to come for a visit!! We have lots of sun and warm weather--this weekend we are going to have sunny skies and low 80's will be our temps! I wish I could bottle some up and ship it to you!

It is not for a lack of sunshine for Danny; it is a lack of sleep. He has sleep apnea (I'm sure) but, he does not want to try and stop smoking so he is doing it to himself . Because he does not sleep well, I do not sleep well...
He has a viscious cycle going; he can't get a sound sleep, so he is tired throughout the day. His ride home is really hard on him so he stops to get an iccee to keep him awake. Which is packing/or keeping the pounds on him; which makes the sleep apnea worse....and round and round he goes...now, with the time change he is really cranky. He'll adjust in a week or so...but, until than!

Now, I have not tried on the swimsuits as of yet; so, I don't know if they are keepers or not...

I like suit #1 and the tanks are all super cute. I have the black sundress from Old Navy. I bought it for our Disney trip last June, and wore the heck out of it all summer. I had to wear a slip under it; the skirt was really see through. In hindsight-I should have just stitched a liner into it.

We will have lunch at Mara and dinner at Fulton's on Friday and hang around the resort all day

We will have breakfast at Boma and late lunch at Earl of Sandwich on Saturday before we swim with Cayley and Avery

Sunday, September 25 -- Breakfast at Crystal Palace at 8:05 a.m., MK until around 1 p.m. and then swimming at the CSR; back to the MK for dinner at The Plaza and EMH's

Monday, September 26 -- Extra Morning Hours at Animal Kingdom; early lunch at Yak & Yeti; back to CSR for swim and then Epcot for evening (dinner at Via Napoli)

Tuesday, September 27 -- Epcot for EMH's in the a.m.; CSR for a mid-afternoon rest and then MNSSHP at the MK with MaryAZ and all of her family

Wednesday, September 28 -- Studios first thing a.m.; early lunch at Sci Fi; Epcot all evening

Thursday, September 29 -- early breakfast at Kona (probably around 7:30 or 8:00 a.m.) and then driving to Marco Island for a week with Nicki

Thanks! Lisa I really need to try on the swim suits maybe this weekend sometime. I really like the last two tops. I need to pull out outfits and label to see what I have so far. So, I'm thinking I really need some new night wear and maybe a new pair of flips.
