hello everyone,
i've been doing research like crazy and i found out that a large school district in los angeles has the day off on September 26 (wednesdy). Also, some schools in anaheim have a half day off of school that same day. This is the week I am hoping to go to disneyland so i was wondering how this will impact the crowds on that day.

Note: For those of you who went last year at this time, the day off was on September 29th (thursday). Did you feel like you noticed a big difference in wait times compared to the rest of the weekdays that week?

Thanks

Los Angeles County is rather large and has a number of school districts in them. Los Angeles Unified is the largest. Would you happen to know which one? But, honestly, I wouldn't think it would make a huge impact in attendance since it is a midweek off day. Now, if the off day was a Friday, then the answer would be different.

thanks for replying valencia joe. This is my very first post and i was starting to think no one was going to answer me! The school district i found with the day off is los angeles unified. I'm hoping it wont make a big difference, but if it would make a big impact, then i was thinking of planning on doing something else that day instead like go to the beach.

I might take a beach day, or head to San Diego and hit the zoo or legoland as San Diego unified won't have the day off. I need to check that out also as we plan to go sometime in Sept.

I just checked and our school district gets that day off too. We're in South Orange County. You will probably get a lot of locals there (we'll be there ), so if you have the time and options, I would probably do something else.

We are also orange county & have the day off. We will be first in line at CarsLand! Woo Hoo!
