School Closings

I have missed school for the past week. It's driving me crazy! I missed the first week for the cruise, came back, and Thursday was a snow day. Then it was my birthday/great-grandfather's funeral Friday, so I couldn't go to school. And now there's been so much ice on the roads, we've been closed this week.

Has anyone else missed this much school in so little time?

Or does it really bother anyone else? I know some of the people I talk to think I'm crazy because I miss school, but I really do!

Last week I went to school two out of the 5 days. Snow day on Tuesday and I was sick Weds and Thurs.
But I skipped third period on Friday because they weren't counting attendance.
And well, this week is exam week so my tv has become my best bud.
But the most I've actaully missed of school is like.. 12 days? I was on a 19 day vacation in Florida two years ago and I missed like two weeks of school.

That week in December when all of us here had that huge ice storm...
We were out for a whole week for school and nobody had power.

I never thought I'd miss school that much ever.

Usually over the summer I feel like I want to go back sometimes.

I've never had any snow days before, but I could see how you would want to be back in the swing of things! Does this mean that you'll have to make it up in the end?

No, I don't have to make anything up.

And summer breaks are the death of me. Last year, the second day we were out I was ready to go back! I have serious issues...

No snow day yet. This week is midterms, so last Friday I took my Math from 10am-12n and left, MLK Monday, Tuesday didnt have to go in., Wed-Earth Science from 745am-945 am, Thursday Global 10am-12n, Friday ELA 745-10am. Back to regular classes monday.

Well, I woke up early this morning, and nothing was happening. I figured we were two hours late; we were. I was just about to fix tea and walk out the door when Mom yells that they've cancelled school. Again. I had to check online, but it's true. So I'm stuck at home for yet another boring day. Grrr.

I'm sorry my friends always say i miss so much school I love to skip 1st period if my mom will let me which norrmally then i skip second and so i miss science and math which i hate those 2 classes so no promblem there then like this week i missed 2 days there was no school on monday and there is no school today so i only went yesterday which is because i was in chicago for a dance comp. Sunday-Wednesday so all and all i only went 1 day this week i'm missing more school in 2 weeks which i just missing friday monday and tuesday but still i'm missing school as I'm going to New York City for the first time ever in my life for a dance comp. so i do miss alot of school but unfortunately it like only snows once a year around here

I haven't had a snow day in 3 years.
We had a 2 hour delay once though.

We're only allowed to miss 6 days, otherwise I think we either lose all our credits or get held back or summer school or something.
