schedule for annual pool refurbs?

I am just wondering if the same pools get refurb around the same time each year?
Seems like bcv is usually down easch spring for some part.

The only ones on a regular schedule are the two water parks.

They do try to take them down in slower/colder time periods, but it is not always the case, since things do occur beyond their control.

I know several times that stormalong has had the slide or portion of it closed for around april, into May. We have always been lucky and it seems to be fully open when we get there,which is usually mid may. But we have foud out just weeks or maybe a month or 2 in advance at some resorts(like 1 time at SSR-staying dvc,couldn't change).

So how much notic is there ever given. I always ask, but when you plan 6mo+ out, they always say nothing is planned.

I just found out here today that the slide and part of SAB are going to be closed when we are there a month from now. I had thought that since we were so close to our travel dates and that it was Spring break season, that we were in the "clear" so I was pretty surprised (and very bummed) to find this out.
