When you schedule a time with DVC, can you schedule to go straight to the resort you want to see?

When we did this two weeks ago at VGF, we asked our guide so that he could add our name to the security gate when we drove in. Although I'll add that when we arrived we simply told security we had an appointment to tour the DVC villas and they just let us on in. From there we walked over to Poly and did the tour there without setting up any appointment and they showed us a studio and a bungalow. If you're at the resort you can pretty much just go up to the DVC booth and say you want to tour the model rooms, no appointment needed.

Yep. That's what we did to add on at VGF last month. But you may have to wait a bit if the guides are occupied with other guests. We had to wait approx. 30 mins. until the guide was free to take us to the model suite. All in all wasn't too bad for a walk-up.

If you are driving and want to see Riviera, definitely make an appointment. They are strict about parking there. If you are arriving via Disney transportation, no appointment needed.
