Does anyone have a good scavenger hunt list? Note, nothing overly difficult, (i.e., I'm not looking to stump people) :cool1: .

We've had a couple of great threads on this in the past. They may have been called something like 'Disneyland secrets', but someone with a better memory could tell you for sure.

I'm not sure the age group you are going for.
Some simple things could be to name one of the Trains on Big Thunder Mountain (you don't have to ride the ride, you can see the trains from outside the attraction.) Also the Jungle Cruise Boats all have names, too. Perhaps they could find the sword in the stone, or name a topiary animal from Small World.

I think there is a tour like this, but I haven't taken it. It is geared towrd families with kids.

You'll get lots of answers from this board.
Have a great time.

Something cute I've thought of doing is "collect the sippy cups"
Different counter service resturaunts offer different character sipper cups (the kind with the straws, not toddler cups) Depending on budget, collect them all (and wash and take them home as "look what I got you at Disneyland gifts) or pick a certain character (find the Genie cup)

Or maybe with the Magical Milestones penny presses, you could find the year you were born, the year you were married, a favorite attraction, etc. If you don't want to spend all day looking, you could look at the list ahead of time to see where the machine is located.

The Railroad trains are also named and numbered.
I tried to think of some that are not on the usual "lists"

Thanks for the ideas. The people participating will be in their 20's all women. We are looking to have fun and laugh (i.e., finding funny places to take pictures more than finding clues to trivia). :cool1:

Maybe a picture with Pooh or Piglet in critter country. Or with one of the Princesses, or Arial in her grotto (better yet, King Neptune - he never moves).

Maybe name the four main birds in the Tikki Room. Find the Address of Blue Bayou
How many crowns are on the Castle, which one represents which decade?

There are some actual quest cards put out by VMK (Virtual Magic Kingdom) and they are located in front of innoventions. They have one for Frontierland, Adventureland and Fantasyland. Maybe you could have them complete just one of those. (I have them if you want the questions instead) in addition to your fun questions.

Where can you get a Tiger Tail? the candy store in Critter country.
Who sponsors the Tiki Room (or where can you get a Dole Pineapple Whip?)

Infinite possibilities.

Great ideas. Could you post the questions you have on the Card(s) you have?

Greatly appreciated!!! :cool1:

Here are a couple from Adventureland:
(Jungle Cruise) When explorers leave their tent to roam, which Jungle Cruise animals make themselves at home?

(Indiana Jones) Indiana Jones Adventure Awaits, and as you exit, find the truck's license plates (write down the plate #)

Here are a couple from Frontierland

How many rubies sparkle and shine within the LETTERS of "The Golden Horseshoe" sign?

Most folks say this was the year the Fireworks Company came to the Frontier.
(It's on a poster painted on the side of a bldg, near the golden horseshoe.)

Thanks again!!! Any good ones for Tomorrowland or Fantasyland? :cool1:

We thought of a fun one where they would have to take a picture of their teammate while they spin themselves in the Tea Cup ride.

How about:

Fantasyland

Pictures while:
* Riding the carousel
* Trying to pull the sword (from Sword & the Stone - in front of the carousel)
* # of Golden vehicles that are set out for picture taking - carousel horse, Dumbo, car from Mr Toad's Wild Ride, Peter Pan
* Making a wish at the well at Snow White's Grotto
* Posing next to one of the picture collages
* Pointing down at the spike in the castle entryway, or pointing at the TimeCastle buried in front of the castle

Tomorrowland
* Picture with Push the Trash can - or picture while talking to Push the Trash Can
* Picture from Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters (you'd have to get that picture when you get back home since you email it to yourself
* Picture while turning the giant marble ball by Space Mtn

How many pictures can you take w/a Mickey 50th logo behind you

Find an adult wearing Mickey ears, Find an adult wearing Mickey ears AND holding onto a balloon
How many people can you see with a birthday sticker & sing happy birthday to them (not just wish them happy birthday)
How many people can you make smile

Go on Tom Sawyer's Island and find the hidden treasure - take a pic of it

Find the leopard/jaguar in Tarzan's Treehouse & get a pic

Ride the coaster in Toontown & take a pic
Get a pic behind bars in the "jail" in Toontown

Character pictures

Get a picture "proposing" on your knee to a character, or "kissing" the character's hand (much like what a guy would do to a princess - but do it backwards)

Picture in one of the Main Street vehicles
Picture in front of the Partners Statue in the Plaza hub

Any hints on where these are located? I've been to Disneyland countless times, and have never seen or heard of these two items. Usually I'm in "ride" mode, but this time I'll be going with my wife and newborn son and will be taking it leisurely, so this sounds like something I would love to do. I'm a Disney park fanatic, and love knowing all of these little intricacies placed within the park (ie. hidden mickeys, basketball court, Walt's aparment, Club 33 door, etc.) Thanks for the help!

Push the Trash Can comes out several times a day and talks to people - he's remote controlled -- I have a great pic of Snow White talking to him that I'll post here later on

The treasure on Tom Sawyer's Island is somewhere in the caves - you just gotta find it :)

Here's one I just found yesterday.

Find (take a picture of , or get a souvenier from) the coffin in New Orleans Square. Hint: It's a quarter press.

Also maybe find shrunken ned in Adventureland and get a souvenier or picture, and find aladdins lamp, also in adventureland. I'm not sure if that one gives out souveniers.

OK, since you are all 20-something women, here's one:
(In no way do I mean to demean the male of our species.)
 See who can get a picture with the hottest CM!
You could play it off real easily, like "I just need to get a picture from every ride I go on" or something not quite as embarrassing as "Hey you're the hottest guy I've seen today!"
(here's a tip- canoes)

Get a picture with the Denver Dans (quartet on Main Street), or the trash can trio in Tomorrow Land. Also with CM Maynard - likely working at the main street theater (although sometimes works as a Jungle Cruise Boat Captain).

We actually took photos of my son in front of the many "potty stops" on one of our trips... funny for us because he was there so often!
