Hi All!

We are planning a trip to Disney World in October 2015. We have our 6 and 7 yo DD. We are not going to tell them about the trip until the night before we leave, and we figured what better way then a scavenger hunt. We are wanting each little clue to be princess themed. Has anyone done something like this before? I have a couple ideas, but was hoping for some more creative ones. Thanks for any help you can provide. I appreciate it !!

Check on Pinterest....there are a few ideas if you search "Disney scavenger hunt." We are going to surprise our kids too....a scavenger hunt is one of the ideas I was tossing around.

We surprised our girls back in April 2013 with a scavenger hunt! Our oldest was 5 and needed a little help with a few of the clues, but she absolutely loved it! I made up almost all of the clues myself. It was a great time! Here's a link to my post I posted way back when with all my clues... feel free to steal as many as you'd like!

Disney Scavenger Hunt Clues!

We did a scavenger hunt surprise for DDs 7th birthday. Woke her up at 5am before the flight. The clues were about each year of her life, so that won't help you, but it culminated in opening a giant box full of Mickey shaped balloons. There was a mickey stuffed animal in the bottom with t-shirts staying were going to Disney. It was so fun!!!! You could do princess balloons!

Have fun!!!

Last year we did a scavenger hunt and I was trying to figure a way so that our youngest(who only could read a few words) would not feel out of the loop. After racking my brains I decided that we would draw pictures for clues. Well after only a couple, I came up with a better idea:thumbsup2 we would take photos of where all the clue spots were. Some photos were easy and some were more difficult (like a real close up of their Cinderella castle playset) and they would have to figure out the photo and then go there to get the next clue. To start the hunt we put the 1st photo in an envelope addressed to both our DDs and made it look like it came in the mail. The final photo was of a magic band and when they found it and opened up the MB box it had a note that said "You will need these tomorrow to get into your "resort name" room". It worked great:yay: Downside:sad2: They had trouble sleeping that night because they were so excited:lmao:
