Hello all-
I just made an online reservation at Cape May Buffet for a dinner during our August vacation. Before I gave them my credit card to hold the ressie, I read the fine print of the agreement. Here's what I found as I went through it:

"At Family Style or Buffet locations Guest will only receive one meal, this will not be all-you-care-to-eat. Guests will be charged the regular buffet or all-you-care-to-eat price."

Are they trying to say that they will serve a guest one plateful of food, and we can't return for seconds or dessert? At the prices that are charged, this doesn't seem right. Or am I completely off on this one?

Thanks to all who respond!:confused3

This comes up up on a fairly regular basis. I believe this is a continuation of the General Condition about Kosher meals. Buffets and family style locations can provide guests with a Kosher meal, but it's prepared by an off-site vendor and brought in, so there is only one Kosher meal per guest that requested one.

It would probably be clearer if it read as one paragraph (like this):
"Most Walt Disney World Resort table service restaurants that accept reservations can accommodate Kosher needs if requested at least 2 Days in advance by 407-WDW-DINE. At Family Style or Buffet locations Guest will only receive on meal, this will not be all-you-care-to-eat. Guest will be charged the regular buffet or all-you-care-to-eat price."

Yes, this is about ordering kosher meals, which cannot be prepared in unlimited quantities. It is so badly written that on a fairly regular basis there are posters on here asking if it means they are only allowed one trip to the buffet.

Thanks TDC and Figment for setting this straight! I can now look forward to 2 servings and a dessert!
