I was really hoping you would get some resolution today. Sorry this is still ongoing. I've thought about this all day. I'm hoping your dh can get some satisfaction tomorrow and get them really moving to put an end to this A.S.A.P..
Hang in there. I don't think people are trying to judge or be mean. I think we're all just scared for you and your dd. As well as not understanding everything. I'm positive everyone is hoping for this to end safe and fast.

3. The fact that these notes are being taped to items is very interesting to me. .

This is curious as most younger kids do not have tape at school! They might have a glue stick, but not tape. That makes it sound as if it is an adult. :confused3

Wow...

:grouphug:

You and your daughter are in all of our thoughts and prayers!

You do have my most heartfelt apologies... I truly never meant to really offend. Please realize that nobody here has really turned on you. I think everyone here has posted their thoughts/advice out of the concerns and fears in their hearts.

after DH emailed about how now other children are being attacked by this

Wait...is this new or did I just miss this point earlier in the thread? If other children are now getting notes, it actually makes me feel a little better. The one-on-one stalking thing is very creepy, but if this person is now leaving notes for other kids, it changes the whole dynamic. In no way am I saying there's no longer reason for concern. It would just make me feel a little better as a parent.

Tantor, I hope that you get the answers you seek very soon. I know that you're doing all you can.

Thanks Michelle. That means alot to me.
Hubby is getting on the phone tomorrow with police and director of the school board as we are now at a standstill with the principal. She sent a pretty crappy note via email after DH emailed about how now other children are being attacked by this and about a camera being installed. He is mad as he**. Chloe will not be going to school next week till this is resolved. I will also change schools if I have too.
I am now going to bed.

So you are just now contacting the police? Whew, finally! I'm glad you will be keeping your daughter home from school. IMO that's the best thing at this point because you just never know what could happen.

I still don't understand how the teacher has not seen the notes. She is in the class. Don't the students that receive the notes (your daughter and the other one) bring them to the teacher's attention? Is the teacher just saying she hasn't seen them? Still truly a bizarre scenario. I guess things really do work differently in the Canadian Schools and I'm glad I don't live in Canada, that's for sure.

Not trying to be rude but she has stated over and over that the police are involved and have been for a little while now. I know this and I've only read maybe 1/5 of the posts.

This is a very sensitive subject for her and everyone jumping and being condescending doesn't help matters. It just makes people not want to look for a little comfort and support. I'm sure she's venting here so she doesn't add extra stress to her already stressed out family! Please make sure you read every post if you are going to go on the attack. At least get your facts straight.

Tantor, I hope you find your answers quickly, and I am keeping your family in my prayers. :grouphug:

I read the whole thread. My thought is way too many questions. So the best advice would be stop making a guessing game out of it and let the OP handle it or the police. If it was such a big deal it would be on tv. Stories like this don't go unnoticed by local tv stations. Other parents would also be making more out of this for the protection of their own children. I'm sure we on the disboard will not solve the "MYSTERY." Good luck to the OP. I hope all goes well.

:grouphug: To you and you family...I hope all is solved soon and safely. We had a story here in Oklahoma about a hit list found at a high shcool. It was all over the news yesterday and today (11/30 and 12/1). It really stuck out after following this thread.

It seems to be impossible for some people to understand that fact. My goodness, the assumptions throughout this thread! :confused3

I have just read this whole thread and some people really have me :confused3 :confused3

I hope you get this resolved very soon. My Dh is a police officer....and what you are writing is scaring the heck out of me!!!! I hope they find out who this sick person is.

I'm very sorry you are going through this, but I'm going to inject a reminder here for everyone.

In reading this whole thread I've learned some interesting things about this posters life. I know the city and state and country in which she lives. I know her daughters name, age and grade. I also know her mothers name. I know the daughter takes karate and has a day off from school tomorrow. I'm sure there is probably more info too, but hey, that's enough from one thread.

Now I know people can find out anything about anyone at any time. But here is a mother concerned about her daughter getting threatning notes and look at all the info I have gleened through this post.

I think this whole post is a timely reminder about being vigilant in what we say and do online sometimes.

And like I said, I know people can find this info out about anyone anytime, but in this case I would think one would be more prudent. JMHO

Good luck with your daughter and I hope everything turns out good and in a timely fashion!

Tantor,
I pray today many of your questions will be answered and today will be the end of this nightmare for you and your daughter. Please keep us posted with the progress made.

The school police have been involved. From what I've read (and I read this thread daily), the parents themselves have not contacted the police.

And I don't seen anyone being condescending. Many people (including myself) are just trying to understand why certain things are/are not being done. I watch a lot of Law and Order so I guess my questions stem from me being influenced by that show ;)
