Do we all look for the same thing or pick one theme for each and/or both groups? Sorry for being dense!

I think we will each be given a specific theme to search for so it might be different for different people in each group. We are going on a scavenger hunt to find out items. (Actually I am hoping to find what I need at CKC at the end of the month.)

Uh oh! If that's the case, then I guess I better choose something different for the storebought group. I can only find slide mounts in plain colors around here. I'd be in BIG trouble if I ended up with Halloween for something like that!

I just want to make sure I'm clear on what would be considered fibers for this swap. I looked on the glossary thread but fibers weren't really addressed. I asked about the fun fur because even when I buy prepackaged fibers at the scrapbook store many times the fun or fuzzy yarn is included. So I would be looking for what we would call "trims" in sewing, rick rack/twill tape and the like?

I will keep in mind what is out there on the market when I give out themes. You might get a solid color like red or yellow, or white when I give out themes on Friday. Does that make sense?

Yes, you can do either or. You can even split up your amount and do a yard of two different types as long as they fit your theme.

For example, I might have the color red for homemade group 1, halloween for store bought group 1 and 4th of july for store bought group 2. I will post themes on Friday morning ( unless we close all the groups early).

As long as we are all asking questions, are deco squares and embellished squares the same thing? And if they are different, which one have I just signed up to do?
