Scam Warning update pg 5

I understand that the VMK Moderating Staff have a difficult job and up until yesterday when Riser incident happen I have not mention my scammer or situation again on the boards. I have been in the past very vocal about how I feel about things in the game I have also shown my support of VMK Staff when I think they are doing an awesome job.

Moderation and consistency is not a job that I feel they are getting gold stars in.

I have to say that more than anything I am hurt by the non action in my case.

As I mentioned before I have been in contact with VMK but so far all that I have heard is "it is being looked into".

In another thread someone mentioned starting a letter writing campaign to VMK regarding this. I just sent the following note to VMK's Contact Us using I want to give feedback on something in VMK.

I think you made a mistake on your second link but that it is the message that is important.

I did the same because I could have posted it on the dis, but that would have changed nothing, I just hope (this is most probably a dream but well ..) they will read it and realize that favoritism and breaking of rules in a game that is done to promote Disney, is not a good thing to do.
 
im confused what did the scammer do? did he/she take your inferno? how?

See now this reallly pisses me off (Sorry). You had all the evidence in the world and yet no return. Riser (nothing against you dude) but has turn around in a matter of time.

What does that show me? Favoritism. What about the kids who have NO contact with staff? Continued to get scammed and leave the game. This has to stop. Understandably you do not have enough staff to handle these issues, but come on, when evidence is provided how can u let this continue.

These kids who scam should be forced to give all their goods to new kids and watch them like a yard sale. Sorry I am just tired of it and I know for a fact Mal's creep offers junk for trades and is a bully. Dude what comes around goes around only hope it happens real fast to you.
 
Mal, for what it is worth, I sent am email to VMK on your behalf and to echo that the punishment should fit the crime.

I only hope VMK gets it act together and thinks more about the players who love the game but are being run away by the ugliness that has begun to run rampant in the kingdom....be it rude players, players who use vulgar language in a mean and hurtful way, racism, scammers or inappropriate adult content.

I am sadden and disillusioned.

I did not sent a message in your name, I would never do that, my message was mainly about breaking of the rules and the fact that imo it ruins the magic of disney because VMK is supposed to be a marketing game to promote disney. I would better now rather go to USF and not knowing about how ppl are treated than going to Disney where it is suppose to be a nice and happy place, anyway Disney was already going down imo -_-.
 
I just wrote a letter to vmk about the scam on your behalf.

I recently had a friend on vmk named gothicmal, and she recently got scammed out of her inferno magic. Oh, that scam took place three weeks ago! The user who scammed her is still active and could be still scamming this very day! While i know moderating and answering questions takes time, and more than likely takes a toll on the staff, some issues, such as this one, need attention as soon as they come up.

For example here one player lost his flips and had them personally returned:

I think that vmk needs to address all issues, not just some. Thank you.

I am not upset with anyone who sent letters far from it I was very touched, I am over the non action VMK decided to take with me and have decided to personally drop the subject.

As I have said numerous times before, I never asked for my inferno to be returned, only that action be taken against the scammer(s) in the game. Which VMK seems to turn the other cheek to, not considering it a scam.

I have decided for now to just not pursue this any longer, it is not worth the extra time and :headache: thought to me any longer.

I think it's sad that people get on a game where you know a lot of children are going to be playing, and then pull stuff like that. What are these people's problems????

Mine did not reference your VMK name or any Disboard threads for that matter either. Mine was more an open plea for equality in moderation and consistency in handling situations as you experienced.

not only consistency but curiosity would be nice. If VMK_Shorty did not or could not understand the circumstances behind my scam it would have been nice to have him/her either email me or phone me for the details. As it stands he/she just basically called me the one who was trying to scam VMK out of an inferno.

I am beyond angry about this as you would expect.
