Scale Recommendation

Does anyone have a home scale (for people ) that they like and would recommend? I'd like to buy a good one on ebay. I'd especially like one that does digital readout in tenths ... i.e. it says "144.4". Are you guys a big fan of one type in particular?

Has anyone heard of a "Tanita" scale?

Yes. We have a Tanita scale and love it. They have several varieties, but we went for the cheapest (about $60). It measures body fat as well as your weight (including 10ths), but I've read that no scale can figure that reliably. The Tanita was recently rated very highly in Consumer Reports. We were very pleased to read that since we had just bought ours.

we may not love the number it shows us but we love the scale!
