SCAL & Cricut cord?

I purchased SCAL for my 15 yr old dd. She has the cricut that cuts 6"x12"...her cricut did not come with a cord to connect to pc. Only thing we can find is it says to use cord that came with cricut. Can someone tell me where and what type of cord I need to purchase?

it is the same as my printer cord
actually I go from one to the other using the same cord

I dug around in the "bin of random computer stuff" and found that an old printer cord worked perfectly.

What you want is a

USB "A to B" cable

You need a USB cord to connect the computer to the cricut. I actually used one that used to an old printer to the computer...but you can find them at Staples and such.

thanks everybody! The cable repair man was here as I was telling my hubby we needed a printer cord and the cable guy had and extra cord in his truck and gave it to us...thanks to everyone!
