When we went to WDW, I took unlined 3x5 cards for autographs. In incorporating them into my scrapbook, I made out OK with most but am really unhappy with the way my princess page turned out. There was something "not right" about it but I couldn't figure out what it was. I showed it to someone who is a scrapping pro, and also happens to sell scrapbook products (not CM). Here's her suggestion, I thought I'd mention it for anyone else interested. My problem is, there is too much WHITE on the page from the autograph cards. The cards have become the focal point, rather than the pictures. Her suggestion is to put the autograph card UNDER the picture, and make it like a lift-the-flap thing. (you could easily do this with an envelope - have the back of the envelope facing you. Paste the autograph card onto the envelope, UNDER the flap. Then paste the picture onto the flap). Then use an exacto knife to cut the page procector so you could actually lift the flap. This way you could still see the autographs but they don't take over the page. I really like this idea. Unfortunately I already cropped both the autograph cards and the pictures, so nothing would fit properly. Not to mention that they are all already pasted onto the paper. Although she seems to think I could salvage everything and fix it properly. I'm going to try something else before resorting to such drastic measures.
