I have finally gotten around to making the pocket pages for my Disney album. I need to know how do you fasten the paper securely to make the page sturdy enough to hold park maps?
I am using 8.5 x 11 paper if that matters.

I use cardstock and adhere with CM photo tape. It is very sturdy and holds up well.

I like to use foam tape...3M makes some that I like. If you use the foam tape it gives you a little more room in your pocket which is nice if you have a lot of things to put in there.

I *love* the foam tape idea, will have to try that. I just use hermafix and cardstock. Really any of your tape runner type adhesives will work fine. I wouldn't recommend a liquid glue like zig or sailor, and hermafix dots would be a last resort for me. But the tabs, or photo splits, tape runner, etc anything like that is good. If you have a lot of stuff, one thing you can do if you won't want to use foam tape, is when you go to adhere your pocket down, put some scraps of cardstock between your pocket and the background paper, that will add a little give so you can easily slide things in and out of the pocket.

I reinforced mine by using brads at the corners, for decoration too!! Eyelets work just as well, or you could sew them!!

Great idea with the foam tape to make more space.
