SB: My LSS is moving

My LSS is moving. She will be celebrating her first anniversary of her store opening next month and it has already outgrown it's 1200 square foot space. She will be moving into a space that is 2 1/2 times the area she has now. We are all so excited. That will mean more classes, more crops and more scrapbook supplies. It has been wonderful having a scrapbook store just 15 minutes from my home. I have also met and shared experiences and ideas with some really wonderful and talented people via the store.

Wow! Here the LSS's haven't done well at all.....there were 2, not really that close to me but within half an hour, and they are both gone. I have to be a CM consultant just to have supplies...lol. Actually, as much as I'm joking its half true....even Michaels and AC Moore are a trip for me. Closest place to find anything is Ames and the selection there is quite poor.

I am so jealous, my nearest LSS is a 3 hour train journey away. I went for the weekend a few weeks ago and it was so much fun being able to choose supplies to match my photo while I scrapped. I'm just trying to place an internet order now and it's not the same.

I do realize how fortunate I am to have a LSS so close. The owner is a wonderful dynamic, energetic, charismatic person. She has had extensive corporate business experience. She knows how to analyze figures and trends. She also likes to share the wealth and sets her prices accordingly. I think that all these qualities combined have contributed to making her store a success.

I cannot tell you how much I have learned form the ladies I have met at the store. When someone learns a new technique it's like share and tell. On my own I don't think I would have matured half as much as I have.

PS: The owner is also a Disney nut

How did you put that cute "We're off to Walt Disney World" with the countdown on the bottom of your threads? That is the cutest and I would love to do a daily countdown for our upcoming cruise.
