Do you redo it or just leave it? First I try and see if there is anything I can adjust or fix to make it more to my liking. If I'm still not happy with how it turned out I end up redoing it or I know it will bug me FOREVER!!!

I redo it. I had one page that had been bugging me for about 3 months. I finally gave up and re-did it a few weeks ago and it turned out sooo much better! It was driving me nuts before, and I knew it would until I completely re-did that page! LOL!

Sometimes I redo it and sometimes I just let it go. I don't know why exactly but I'm usually not happy with my pages when I'm done. Most people that see my albums really like them but I usually only like about half the pages. The other half are just so-so or even terrible to me. I think I'm just not creative enough to please myself but I keep hearing everyone say that they have really improved over time and since I love to scrapbook I'm taking that to heart and figure one of these days I'm going to find my own 'style' and like my work better.

I have redone a couple that I just hated, but mostly I just leave them, or try and tweak them a little - one I did, I went back and chalked the title, added some more stickers and a paper piecing and while it will never be my favorite page, it's doesn't bother me as much as it did.

here is one I redid, that is a bit better - but I think once you have gone wrong, it's never going to be the worlds greatest page!

and redone -just matted the pics, changed the sign and straighted everything up -

I have several pages I want to redo but I think they are a lost cause. They were pages I did right after my DD was born, 6 years ago and I used those stupid sissors on them and cut them in odd shapes....At the time I liked it or thought I did. I guess I have about 12 pages like this and then luckily I stopped. So I may if I get caught up with my other pictures I may redo them but then again it is kind of neat to see how your style changes....
Bev that looks really nice. I liked the first one but the second page looks really nice. brings the pictures out more,,,

BevS97, that was an excellent example of a page redo. I like the page so much better the second time. Only thing is, I don't think my page redos come out as great as yours!

the first one makes me laugh - it was one of my very first pages, and I think I had this idea that you couldn't have a straight photo! Everyone of them was at a jaunty angle!

I think if everytime you look at the book it's going to bug you, then redo it, but if it's just a cute example of how much your style has changed then leave it.

I have several pages that I don't like at all. I usually wait until I am finished a book before I go back. I have one page that I agonized over for weeks. I ended up just doing it. It looks so-so, but eventually I will figure out how to make it right. My problem is that I am an emotional scrapper. The page has to make me feel the memory. When I am making a gift page I can just put it together. All I have to think about is color and balance.

Bev your examples are perfect. I like my photos a bit askew but I find I like them matted best.

Oh I'm so relieved! I was afraid I'd find out that no one else ever ended up with pages they didn't really like!!!

Bev, I liked your first sheet when I saw it but like the 2nd one so much better!

It depends how unhappy I am w/ the page. I wish I had taken a photo of the one page I redid. I hated how it turned out. I changed the colors of the papers I used and added some paper folding and now I love it! If I don't totally hate the page I usually let it go...I have plenty of pages that I think could be better, but if I redid it all I'd never get caught up!
