Thanks everyone! DH came through this year...he can be pretty sweet when he wants too.

Like I said before, the biggest surprise was him going into Michael's and actually finding the Sizzix machine. I don't know how he managed unless there was a golf club taped to the box. It was the big 3-0 so the great gifts made it special. One other gift, OFF-TOPIC (aside from the talking Mickey Mouse lamp from my mom!) was from my business partner. This is a great idea when you want to do something a little different than the typical "over the hill" stuff:
She sent me a big box full of individually wrapped gifts, numbered and lettered A and B
One box was labeled "Open me first" Inside was a bottle of Skyy Blue and a roll of film with a note that said "Here's a drink and some film to get you started...let's bring in the 30's right"
Another box said "Open me second" inside it was a "magazine" she had created on the computer to look like "Cosmopolitan" that said April 2000 Issue "How will you survive your 30's? Are you a Hip Chick or an Ancient Artifact? Take our quiz"
Inside were questions that coordinated with the A and B presents for example:
1) When you go out on a windy day, and you need something to keep your hair away from your face which would you prefer?
A. was a hair net!
B. was a package of "hip" hair clippies
Another one was "You are showing some leg, what is on it?"
A. A pair of plain white athletic socks
B. A pair of knee his
IT was very entertaining and the best part was I know she put so much time and effort into it to make it special. We had some great laughs over the gag gifts.
