Hello everyone! I just thought I'd make my first post a greeting to everyone on the boards. I've been lurking for a few days now and I must say, everyone here seems so friendly and helpful (just like most of the CM are).
The DW and I are planning a trip down to the world 8/31-9/8. It's our 10th anniversary/honeymoon we never got and boy are we psyched. Right now we're only in the planning stages but will be making our reservations by mid Feb.
I've been there five times before, but the last time was way back in '92. My DW has never been there before so this should be exciting for both of us. About the only thing we know for sure is that we are doing a split trip and staying at the CR and AKL.
I was wondering though, is there any option at the World for a couple that wants to do a vow renewal, but doesn't want any of the stuff that goes along with the usual packages? No decorations, no cake, no champagne, no party, nothing. Quite literally, all we'd want is a place to do it, 20 minutes of time to do it in and some one to officiate. $3000+ seems like an incredibly steep price just for that. Any thoughts, hints or tips?
Great to be here!
