Was just checking allearsnet and it says that Buzz Lightyear will be closed for rehab 1-4-06 to 2-8-06. We are going to be there 1-2 to 1-7. This is one of our FAVORITE rides. boo hoo

I also heard about this today. This will be the first trip for our 4 year old son who is crazy about Buzz Lightyear. We think he will be so upset if he can't go on this ride.

I think we are going to change our trip to February so that we will be there when the ride is open.

I like this ride too , but if it is closed it will get me off the hook since I have been telling DH I was going to whoop his butt next year when we are there. ( I wasn't even close to his score last visit)

We will be there the 2nd and 3rd and plan to play and ride Buzz Lightyear 'til we puke!'

We'll be there during the rehab as well. Oh well. There's bound to be a few attractions closed whenever we go during the off-season.

This ride is in need of a freshening up though. Guns don't work consistently, the lime green paint on the cars is chipped, worn and dirty.

This is our favorite ride also but the slowest time of the year is the best to get this ride back up to par.

I hate when your favorite ride is closed. My all-time favorite is Haunted Mansion and I remember 2 weeks before we were to leave on our September 2002 trip it was announced it was going to be closed during our trip. Ugh! And the kicker was it was re-opening the day after we were leaving!

Great - First Test Track, now this one. I really wish they had the rehab schedule done a bit farther in advance.

I hate hearing that it'll be down when we're there, but it sure needs it. I just hope they don't change where the 100K points are! LOL!

We're going to have to rethink our MK plans now since that's the one ride we usually do first right after opening - the kids are gonna be crushed.
